These striking earrings by Teller Indian Jewelry feature polished, light blue Kingman turquoise slabs framed in smooth sterling silver bezels. Each stone has a distinctive network of dark matrix, giving the vivid blue turquoise an almost map-like appearance. The long, tapered stones are simply presented to let the natural character of the turquoise take center stage, while hand-formed sterling silver ear wires and coiled accents add a subtle touch of detail. The result is a clean, contemporary interpretation of classic Navajo turquoise jewelry.

The earrings are hallmarked “EMT” within a fish, the shared hallmark of Navajo silversmiths Everett and Mary Teller. The Tellers are a husband-and-wife silversmithing team known for their handmade jewelry, including overlay, inlay, and stone-set work.

Kingman turquoise comes from the historic Mineral Park mining district in the Cerbat Mountains of northwestern Arizona, near Kingman. The deposit has a long history of Indigenous turquoise use, predating commercial mining, and is particularly known for its range of blue hues and distinctive matrix patterns. These earrings showcase a lighter blue variety with dramatic dark veining—an especially appealing combination against the bright finish of the sterling silver.
