This extraordinary necklace is a bold meeting of traditional Navajo silversmithing and intergalactic inspiration. Handcrafted by the renowned Teller Indian Jewelry family, this one-of-a-kind piece is a tribute to both heritage and imagination.
Each dimensional sterling silver barrel bead is meticulously stamped and oxidized, creating a rhythmic, architectural form that feels timeless and futuristic all at once. Inlaid throughout are rich red and purple spiny oyster shell, vibrant blue turquoise, and striking green turquoise—likely from the famed Royston mine—each stone carefully selected for color, contrast, and spirit.
The necklace draws its name from a remarkable family story: Mary and Everett Teller’s son lent his voice to the Navajo-dubbed version of Star Wars, and this necklace was created in celebration of that cross-cultural moment. The result is a wearable relic—rooted in tradition, touched by stardust.
