Spirit of the Bull: Walter T. Matia

Walter T. Matia was educated at Williams College in Massachusetts. His work has been exhibited in one man shows across the country. He is a regular participant of the Society of Animal Artists; the National Sculpture Society Annual Exhibitions, Great American Artists, and the Prix de West Invitational Exhibition in Oklahoma City, OK. 

Selected collections include the National Museum of Wildlife Art, Jackson Hole, WY; Merrill Lynch Corporate Headquarters; Thomas Gilcrease Art Museum, Tulsa, OK; and Blair House, Guest House of the U.S. President in Washington, DC. Walter currently resides in Dickerson, Maryland with his wife, daughter, and one heck of a good duck dog.
