Symbols in Native American jewelry take beautiful works of art and make them stories that one can wear. This cuff has stair-step symbols that represent the Staircase of Life: the many different steps we take in life, and with each we overcome obstacles.
The second symbol is the Whirl Wind. Also called the Symbol of the Shaman, this represents a journey. You will sweep out the old and open the way for the new.
A great bracelet for stacking, and simple enough for everyday wear.
Handmade by Navajo artists on the Navajo Reservation, below the Lukachukai Mountains. The artists are self-taught, and incorporate traditional Navajo symbols and themes into each piece.
- Materials: Sterling silver.
- Dimensions: 2 5/8" across, 3/4" high, 2" deep.
- Fully adjustable, one size fits most.
- Hallmark: EMT inside a fish symbol, Sterling.
